Launi and Tyler stopped by this evening after she got off work to pick up circus tickets for me. A quick stop by the house turned into a whole evening with just me and Ty. Launi asked if I would watch Ty while she rode out to Leesburg with Mama and Ab. I said sure, as long as I could have the carseat! They left, and Tyler freaked out.. but that only lasted about a minute. After a big hug and a few tears we got our shoes on and headed out to Wegmans to get cookies and visit Nick at work. On our way out there we rolled down the windows, turned up the music and boogied. Yes, I taught the little dude how to boogie down in about 30 seconds. He found it very funny and every time I said "Tyler, boogie!" he would start laughing and point his fingers in the air and wiggle around.
Once we got to Wegmans it was straight to the cookies. Tyler picked out the biggest one they had which was a giant green frog. The lady who gave us the cookies also gave Ty a 'sample.' That was one big ass sample cookie! We finally found where Nick was working and headed up stairs to where movie night was. Movie night didn't start for an hour so we jsut chilled with Nick and ate some cookies. After the cookies and mountain dew we gave Ty he had some energy to say the least. He ran around and around for some time then came and sat where he could see everyone shopping downstairs. He liked waving and saying "Hiya" to everyone down below. We sat there for quite a while and Nick came and gave us some popcorn. Tyler is quite the fan of popcorn.. He ate two giant cups of it in 15 minutes and would have kept going if we had let him.
Nicks friends would stop by say hi to Ty and everytime someone came up to him he would run over to me and pat my back and lay in my lap. Awww I got to have a little taste of what his mama gets all the time. I was a fan =)
We said bye to Nick and headed home. The way home consisted of lots more boogieing and laughing. I'm not sure I've ever had so many weird looks and people laughing at us while stopped at red lights. The kid is just too cute.
Got home and I asked Tyler where mama was and to call for her. So he walked around the house calling for mama, which is apparnetly a big deal because he hadn't really called her mama before. After realizing she wasn't home yet Tyler helped me clean up a little bit. Lots of "scrub scrub scrubbing!" Shortly after cleaning Launi and Mama walked in with dinner, so we ate some Baja Fresh and hung out for a while until my little bud had to go home to sleep.
I haven't really gotten to spend much time with just me and Ty.. but after tonight, I'm sure it will be happening a lot more =)
